    Hi there,

Just writing to find out if anyone out there knows if Nokia are planning on bringing out a touch screen device to rival and or compete with the i phone.

If it wasn't for the fact it's locked to the o2 network I would have got one at the start by I get a very good discount with T-Mobile and o2 reception is almost zero in the part of London I come from,

If anyone does know of anything in the pipeline I would be grateful to hear, been searching the usual forum's but nothing,

    cheers,

    Brian...

Nokia have been working on a touchscreen Symbian phone for sometime and it is expected to see the light of day later this year.

Nokia have been pretty quiet of late so I'd expect to see some news soon.

The touchscreen system they have patented is pretty advanced with optical sensors built under the surface that will detect motion and gestures without even having to touch the screen
