    Hi,
I have an Arcam AVR100 home cinema amp and I just obtained a Nokia Mediamaster 9850T Ondigital box (ebay). I plugged the spdif output from the nokia box into the amp's Sat digital input and got nothing. Analogue sound is fine.

I then plugged the output into my Musical Fidelity XDAC and it switched to 48khz which was a bit of a surprise.
Can the arcam handle such input ? No details in the manual.

maybe the Nokia isn't outputing the correct signal.

I know other people use the digital audio from the box as I've just trawled this forum.

    cheers

48kHz is the correct output. It's used by MD, DVD, PS2 etc.
You just decode the 48kHz stream using Pro-Logic.

Your Arcam should have no problems with it, as 48kHz PCM is a standard signal type.
