    Hi

I have had a pw5 for a few weeks and its brilliant

The only downside of the screen is a high pitched noise that seems to come from the bottom left of the screen. I have the 'export' model and was wondering if it was a voltage issue?

Could one of those voltage smoother plugs help or are they a bit of a con?

It may just be that I have good hearing as my girlfriend cannot hear it very often.

Any help / advice would be greatly received

Hmmm it seems your not alone, I too am experiencing crackling noises coming from my panny pw5.

Is your plasma mounted??? The noises have started since I had the plasma mounted on the wall, mine is the non-export model i.e UK model.

yes mine is wall mounted - it sounds a bit like a fridge or fish aquarium at times and is quite a high pitched noise. I took the first screen back to the shop and kicked up a fuss and was given a new one. I felt like an arse when this one did the same thing.

I think its something to do with the transformer or the video card gubbins.
