Speak to your dealer first, even as an ex demo unit the full warranty shoud still apply. What exactly is it that's noisy. If it's the transport it may be off centre lables on discs, particularly if it ony happens with a few discs.

I have the same problem with a DV79 - some CD/DVD/DVDA are noisy ... I also figure out that unbalanced discs could be the problem ... is there anything I can do with this discs to prevent this ???

Sounds that we dont have the same problem ... my player is noisy only when some discs are played ... and the player also starts to vibrate more than normal - a few discs a lot more than normal ...
