Hi everyone, first post in the car section, please be gentle. :)

Got a wee problem with my car as per the title. There's a noise coming from the offside whenever I go over a piece of road that has a bump. To me, it sounds like it's a fragile glass sound. as if I have glass in yje boot which is rubbing together?

My limited knowledge of cars would guess something like shock absorber... can anyone maybe give me a wee opinion on what it might be and what the cost of repair might be?

    Much appreciated.

sounds like a broken spring. Not expensive to fix. you should be able to see it.
