Question No Video out after Lightning Power Surge

Hi folks,
During a storm earlier this week, a lightning strike caused a power surge. There was a white flash and bang behind my receiver/TV box etc, (not sure exactly where), before blowing the trip. When I turned it on again surround sound worked fine but no Video was output to TV. Found out TV had been damaged too as it powered on but just a faint black colour and no response from remote. So I changed to another tv and it works fine directly from satellite receiver direct via hdmi, but there is no Video output from my av receiver when I pass it trough, although the audio is working fine. Receiver is Yamaha HTR-3063. Is there any way I can try and fix this myself or will I need to take it to a specialist? Or any tips on repairing my TV, (LG 42LW450U)? Many Thanks.

If you can confirm a surge after the lightning strike then your home insurance may cover the damage.
