    HI,

Hope somebody can help me with a sound problem I'm having.

I have a Sony DA1200ES amplifier, wired up to a Harman Kardon HKTS11 Speaker system. I play DVDs via a Sony RDRHXD860 player. The source DVD is linked to the Amp via a Digital Co-Axial cable. In broad terms, the sound I get is excellent, but I'm having problems with one particular DVD - the Grease soundtrack. For some reason that I can't put my finger on, the sub does not output any sound (actually it kicks in every now and then but barely). The disc is DTS 5.1 and I've actually played it in an old system I had 3 years ago and the sub was fine. I don't have this problem with any other DVDs with the sub performing as I would expect.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong would be gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks
