Hi, i have an LG 4K TV and i have the centre speaker behind the TV as the gap below the TV is literally 2-3 inches so there's no space for the centre speaker.

Will i just have to be content with it behind the TV

    thanks

So you mean the Front Left and Front Right ?

Having The centre speakers behind the TV doesn't affect the sound that much

Yes, they will give a phantom center that will sound just as good if you are sitting between them, the center is largely redundant then

As above remove the centre and just run 2 speakers up front.

What about mounting above the TV angled to your MLP? It isn't ideal but IMHO I'd rather this than settle for a phantom centre channel.

The TV is thin and the speaker is thick, i can place it on top of the TV but i wouldn't want it to fall

Put some kids wooden play blocks (or something more aesthetic) under the feet of the stand and lift the tv a couple of inches ?

reason for a center is to lock voices to the screen for people sitting off center. As you aren't the phantom will work fine.

Floating shelf above TV? Raise the TV with a different bracket/stand and position the centre below the TV?

It depends also on the room layout. If you sit 2M back, then your left and right speakers only need to be about 1.5M apart to give good imagery and a totally acceptable phantom centre. If your speakers are set wider than about 2M, then the centre speaker helps to focus the vocal track more and is a bit more necessary. I wouldn't want it behind the TV though, as the reflections from the back would add to the direct sound and give weird phasing and other effects.

Is there issues with having the centre speaker above the tv, above listening height?

I’m happy with it the way it is anyway. It’s very clear and audible
