No sound via HDMI on Toshiba 350 ???

    Hi,

    Have just got a hdmi to dvi cable & connected the tosh 350 to my Acer 26" lcd. The picture is there but i'am not getting any sound through the hdmi connection. any one no wether the tosh sends sound though the hami socket ?

    is the dvd audio set to bitstream rather than PCM - the samsung hd850 does the same if you have the same setting.

    The DVI port (even with and HDMI adapter) will only recieve vision.

    You will need to feed the TV an audio feed from the player.
