I have a Sony Bravia TV VH1 with android operating system, sound is sent through HDMI eARC to a Pioneer VSX 933. For no reason that I can figure out it suddenly stopped playing sound through the receiver when I play certain apps, YouTube, Spotify, TED, and anything sent through the internal Chromecast. I can get sound through the TV speakers on all these apps and when casting from a device.
There is no issue with Netflix and Amazon TV apps and these play through the receiver with no issues. I have an Xbox connected to the TV HDMI port and sound comes through the receiver via eARC with no issues.
I have not changed a single thing, it just stopped working three days ago, I've had it for a nearly a year with no problems.
I have factory reset everything, replaced the HDMI cable, uninstalled and reinstalled apps updated firmware on the receiver and going slowly mad. Can anyone help?
