Prior to changing to a Samsung QE49Q6FNAT TV I plugged my Sennheiser model TR120 ii directly into the audio output socket and I was able to use my wireless headphones at the same time the speaker was on. The new Samsung tv only has digital audio optical output so I routed this through a Neoteck 192Khz DAC and all is well on tv speaker but headphones for iplayer is silent on all services (BBC, ITV, CH4 etc) but ok on normal tv. All advice welcome.
