no sound on channel 4

is anybody else having trouble with the sound on channel 4? there is nothing whatsoever coming through on freeview. it has been like this for 2 days. analogue works fine and all the other channels on freeview are coming through loud and clear. can any one help?

 

I live in the Tyne-tees area and have ad the same problem with the sony box. Started yesterday afternoon. I have managed to cure it by holding the standby button for a few seconds. Seems to be working again now.

I had exactly the same issue with my Sony digibox, no sound at all on Ch4. I'm also in the Tyne-Tees area, it had been off for approx 2 days but then followed your advice and all is well!!

You just saved me from buying a new digibox!!

I had this problem too with my Sony. Thanks for your help - worked a treat.

Any ideas what could have caused this? Is it a firmware issue?
