On my Denon 3802, I need to connect my TV to the "monitor" outputs to be able to see the OSD. I use an S-Video cable from "monitor" to AV2 on the TV. I also have the option to use a composite cable (single yellow socket). I assume that your 2106 will be the same.

The front sockets are probably inputs, so they won't work.

as far as i know you will need to look at the back of the Denon, find the 'composite monitor out' socket, then use a single yellow plug video cable from that socket to the TV's.....

the socket on the front of the Denon is most likely an input, not a monitor output......

do that, then tune the TV to whatever channel deals with the Composite Video Input on the TV and bingo :)
(dont forget to hit Setup on the Denon remote so the setup screen is there, and dont forget i'm talking about the low quality Composite connection, NOT the high quality component connection)

You need to connect the amp to your tv via the svhs out from the amp, to get the OSD to show.

all sorted, i used a video(yellow) jack to connect to av2 and set up my digital inputs, and i have now got all my devices playing through my amp, awesome sounds coming out of my system  :D
