No sky+ for me

    I got my 2nd sky+ box today and after 2 hours it doesn't even power up. Made the call - told will only EVER get a reconditioned box as replacement.

    I don't think so.

    Cancelling straight away.

    Am I the only sky customer this has happened to ???

    the first sky+ box installed onthe free trial was faulty.a week later got a new one put in and it works fine...so far...:smoke:

    You did exactly the right thing, you are entitled under law to have a brand new replacment if the original is broken/faulty within a reasonable period after that you have to give them the option to attempt a repair.

    Continuing saga -

    Now an engineer has phoned to say he'll be around at 11am to swop the Sky+ box for another...????

    This is after telling Sky that I wouldn't be available Saturday and that I was cancelling the box (anyway) by letter...

    Watch this space....

    and the engineer that came to my house was such a misserable git!!!offered crisps and pop and all that and did,nt even get a good answer from him,justa couple of grunts
