No signal from Sky Dish plugged in to C8

I’ve recently ditched Sky Q (contract ends in two days) and noticing my LGC8 TV has a BNC input for Freesat I thought I’d try plugging in. When the cables are plugged into the Sky box they show full signal and every thing works fine but plugging into the TV says no signal/quality. I’ve tried both cables in to the TV and also an old Sky box which should work OK but said the same. Any thoughts why SkyQ was Ok? Is it because the contract isn’t concluded yet?

Sky Q uses a wideband LNB.
The Sky installer changed it from a standard LNB when you upgraded from Sky+HD to Sky Q.
It won't work on a TV with a satellite tuner or Sky+HD.
BTW the satellite input socket is an “F” connector, not BNC.
