No Satellite signal when recording

Hi All,
Looking for some help.
I have found that I can not view any other channels when I have set up to record a channel. The message I get when trying to view other channels is
" No Satellite signal is being recieved," as soon as I stop recording I can view the channels. Has anyone seen this before.
I unplugged the HD Box from the mains supply and reconnected but still get the same problem. Any idea's how I can fix this.

Check your signal in Services. Sounds like one of your tuner inputs is down.

Thanks for the feedback.
I did look at the tuners and had no signal strength for tuner2.
However, I think the problem could have been to do with Sky Anytime and the Auto Standby Setting that was automatically forced on us.
When I selected Sky Anytime from the Menu there was no functionallity there. I guessed ( right or wrong!) that this may have been because the HD Box now switches it's self off at night so does not get any software upgrade. I changed the Auto Standby setting to OFF and left it overnight. This morning I have Sky Anytime capability and my initial recording problem appears to have has gone. I also see that there is signals for both tuners.

Their software updates are definately causing problems. I just found my "signal 2" was gone and I had to cold reboot the box to get it back.

I seem to be having this problem also.

When I go to a movie channel, I get a technical fault error. If I look at the signal I find signal 2 to be off. After a few moments it will come back on very low but the movie channel will now be available.
