No satellite signal is being recieved on 6 channels

    Hi all

    i'm currently getting no satellite signal is being recieved on 6 channels.

    217
    413
    638
    640
    641
    642

    Don't watch most of them but wondering if its me or sky. happening on both sky boxes in the house. Guessing there on the same transponder

    Could only get BBC 1, now they have all gone ! Might be something to do with weather. It better be oK tomorrow morning :mad:

    Those six channels are on the same transponder and if there is a local weather issue the signals from the slightly offset Eurobird (25.5 degrees) could be the first to suffer.
    It's not unusual for a poor installation or a dish that becomes misaligned for the channels on Eurobird to vanish altogether.

    The fact that both boxes had the same problem seems to rule out a tuner or cable problem so it could very well be the weather.

    Don't think you'd get a sniff of Eurobird if it was at "25.5 degrees". :rotfl:
