Got the GX700 from the Wife for Christmas :)

    Unfortunately no RF output.

Can someone confirm that this recorder lacks a modulated RF output from the recorder itself? It seems that the RF is passthrough only and the recorder does not output a direct RF signal itself, unlike some of the Panasonic models or as old VCRs do.

I need RF output to distribute around the house (kitchen etc.) despite inferior quality; it’s very much essential for my set-up.

Does this mean I either have to use an old VCR as a modulator for the GX700, or purchase a separate modulator solely for the GX700?

Any help or ideas much appreciated.
