No Quality on input signal 2

The signal strength on input signal 2 is 50% with 0% on the quality, with both strength and quality on signal 1 at nearly 100% would this make a difference to recordings both channels recording okay, and is there a warranty on the installation as I moved house 10 weeks ago and got the sky+ re-installed at my new address. Any help gratefully appreciated.

First switch off at the mains
Then swap over the lnb cables on the back of the box. If the signal quality fault swaps inputs then the fault is in the lnb/cabling (which should be covered by new warranty), if fault remains on input 2 than fault is in the box and if the fault disappears you had a loose contact which you have fixed.
