Look at this!.
First sad git that thinks this "rawks" gets a slap!!!
this rawks lol
im not really a big horror fan but was talked into going to see freddy vs jason and walked out of it within 30 minutes and after reading reviews of alien vs predator i think i will be steering clear of these kinda new line releases for some time.
hail to the king baby, hail to the king..
Name's Ash. Housewares.
Obviously with a sideline in daft sequels.
Well, I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Hopefully the inclusion of Ash will allow them to cut down on the number of extraneous "kids" in the film. I was pleasantly surprised with Freddy Vs Jason; but admittedly, my expectations were pretty low.
Plus, as I was reading somewhere else (AICN, I believe), this could really boost Ash's stock with moviegoers and convince someone to pony up the cash for a big budget Evil Dead 4.
Hehe, Freddy vs Jason was great
This would rawk
Poor Pauley having to put up with "B movie" slash horror flick lovers!
Don't get me wrong - I love a good "b" movie horror.
Note - "good". This has disaster written all over it!
Please say no Sam Raimi!
I agree with The Pauley. This is a crap idea, and would be a crap movie! Freddie vs Jason was OK, but more a parody of the films than anything, in my opinion, which (I hope) was what it was meant to be. But let's face it, of the entire Friday 13th and Elm Street series(s), only the original movies were any good. Why can't they just leave these things alone? Of course, MONEY!!!
awful idea of the worst kind... I much rather see another film in the Bubba Ho-Tep universe.
Freddy Vs Jason Vs Bubba Ho-tep!!!
I can see it now... Freddy says something witty, and Bubba curses him out in hieroglyphics.
I believe that the pinnacle of the Jason films was number 6, the bending sheriff, sleeping bag death, paintballers, were some of the best deaths of the series.
Of course coming in close is Jason 8, the end death of the boxing kid was sheer genius. Come on take your best shot!
The scariest things about the movies I have seen is the documentary on Jason X, Kane Hodder really takes the role of Jason very seriously, he is a very scary man!
Nightmare on Elm Street I agree on, there really is no comparison between Jason and Freddy. Jason winds hands down
At the risk of going full-on geek, here's my take on Friday the 13th.
I love these films, and watched them way too much as a kid. Part 4 was probably the best. Great character development and an absolutely killer ending. (no pun intended)
Part 6 was also great. Much more polished than the previous films. Part 7 had the best end fight with Jason tangoing with the telekinetic chick. Otherwise, the film was pretty bad. Part 8, however, I consider unwatchable. I don't know what it is, but I just don't get the same enjoyment out of it as I do the other films in the series.
My favorite, however, is still Part 2. Before he was unkillable, Jason was just a deranged shmuck with a sack over his head trying to kill teenagers. It's like his first indie album before he sold out. Still an artist with a vision... killing horny kids.
Back on topic, as much as I like the F13 series, I'd be sitting front row centre to watch Ash blast him and Freddy to pieces.
damn.. i think jason would end up being the judge of the ash vs freddy wisecrack competition.. winner gets decapitated, loser gets disemboweled.
It could be a fun movie if they don't take it too seriously and give Bruce loads of great corny lines.
Ash is too lame.
Freddy v Jason v Faith would totally rawk.
But then Eliza Dushku makes my knees wobble.
Ash has always been lame, that's what's so good about him!
Hahahahaha, you can't be serious! Anything remotely related to Buffy would be wasted against Jason, you can't even compare the teen schlocksters to the pure embodiment of evil. Jason made his bread and butter from killing these teens off left, right and center.
I feel dirtied that Jason should even be mentioned in relation to a Buffy/Angel character
What was the one on the boat?
cough cough done meself an injury cough
I must admit I liked the first Jason film better. That bit when he fights the skeletons and the big metal fella brilliant stuff , they never did explained why he went bad and wore a hockey mask in the subsequent films.
I don't care what anyone thinks - I think, done right, it would be AWESOME.
And that's all I care to say about it.
Took me a minute to figure this one out. (brain must be a bit sluggish) But the skeleton fight is in my top 5 film scenes of all time.
