No New EPG Software Yet!!!!!!

I have a Thompson box but still have the old EPG software. Anyone know when I should get it???

Do a forced update if you want it (all the Thomsons have the new EPG, so yours has missed it for some reason).

1. Remove power completely.

2. Hold down the back-up button on the top of the box.

3. Return the power, but keep back-up held down.

4. Wait until all the lights come on. This means it's updating, then it should reboot.

You should have had it by now, unless you've had the digibox unplugged overnight at the time the software was downloading to the various versions of Thomsons since around 9th March. AFAIK they're all done now, and Sky have moved on to the Paces.

You could try a software update. The new EPG may be on the backup stream now.

Why are you worrying?

Only Thomson owners and a few Pace owners currently have the new EPG.

You're part of a large minority still in eager anticipation.

Cheers Fella....my old bloke got the new EPG a few weeks ago (PACE unit IIRC) and after having a quick play with it I like it a lot!

Hoping I get mine sooner rather than later! Wondered if there was a way to force it sooner

Nope, in fact that is the worst thing you could do.

You are better just waiting for them to get round to the Samsungs/Amstrads in due course.

Any attempts to make it come quicker are more likely to have the opposite effect.
