Hi Tony,
Ive got an MT1, you can notice very faint vertical lines on some scenes. Doesnt bother me really as I can hardly see them.
No projectors are without some discrepancies, and for that price I cant think of anthing else to touch it.

    Hi Tony

I was one of the people who was a little dissapointed with vertical line structure on the Toshiba (MT3 practically the same as MT1), so I contacted Toshiba UK by email about one-two weeks ago. Thay replied yesterday saying "We can adjust your projector to reduce the vertical lines to an optimum , where they are not visible or barely visible" I assume that I will have to send the projector back to them.

So if u are interested, I'll keep u posted.

    Hi Joe

I came across somebody with the same problem with a Sanyo PLV-60, on another forum last night. Sanyo were willing to take it back and sort it out. This would suggest that this problem is something that we don't have to live with, (that's if you are unlucky enough to encounter it).
On the MT3 it's self:
1. Great colour and detail

    2. Very bright with pretty good contrast

    3. But watch out, the fan is quite loud. I had to bore a 4inch diameter hole in the back wall of my living room and mount the projector (via ceiling mount) in the next room. Although, for me, this was a great success, it's hardly an option if you're talking about an external wall (especially with all the rain we get in Ireland)

Overall (if Toshiba sort out this vertical line problem) I'm very pleased with my purchase.

    Conor
