Had mine delivered on Saturday. Waste of time IMO. I would rather have the money of my subs.

Don't think that I've ever scanned through the mag before. Usually goes straight into the recycle bag.

Always got the feeling that this mag was put together by kids on a job creation scheme with no thought of what the target audience might use it for. My copy is shredded and used to line the gerbils cage.

Anyone found a better use for it?

I do something similar for our rabbit but only shread plain paper and cardboard as I was told that the ink from magazines and junk mail will poison small animals, just to let you know incase your gerbil eats the paper like our rabbit does.

Are we actually paying for it? I thought you could ask for it if you wanted it. I suppose the monthly subs goes towards printing it but you do not get money off if you decide to opt out do you?

I know it took them about 4 months to actually start sending mine out after I asked, I get them sometimes now but wish I never asked.

I think the bloke up the road gets mine because I get his post sometimes...... every morning after the post man has been you can see people walking across the roads and paths meeting up with neighbours exchanging the post!

Well I am grateful for it.

Thanks to my Sky mag, I found out that the strange shaped things with buttons on it that came with the box actually enables you to change channels without even touching the box! It's amazing :smashin:

And last month I was glad to see they had bought back that series about some people lost on an Island. I thought it had ended when they got back home, so I was reallly surprised to see there was a new series last month. I would never have know without my sky mag. Thank you Sky, I would have been "lost" without your magazine. :smashin:

I still need to find out where I put my VHS tapes in though so I can use this Sky+ feature. I hope they run a feature on that soon. Perhaps I will write them a letter.

According to some small print in the main mag £1.75 of our sub goes toward the cost of the mags. NO idea about the opting out option though. I doubt you would get £1.75 of your bill.

Also just want to agree with whats been said above this months mag has to be by far and away the worses one yet. Just one big plug for HD (even doing a mock Homer interview saying how he'd love HD:eek::suicide:), and even at one point recommending a 26" tv so that you can get the benefit of HD.
