No expert on AV Audio!!

    Can anybody tell me what the diference is (apart from loudness and build) when buying a AV receiver of around £400 than one around £150-£200?

    What essentially am i buying into when spending more?

    THanks for your help.

    Quality, £400 is still budget gear.... ask the people with £2k steups why they spent so much.

    and quality, and support for more speakers, build quality, connections, the amount of time before it needs replacing as its soo far behind
