No DTS on Yamaha YSP-1000

Hi folks need some help, have just brought 1 of these and have set it up and Dolby Digital is fine and sounds awesome, but it would play back any DVD's with DTS.

I have it connect by COAX and have set Input source to be auto. My DVD is an old Pioneer player yet it say it does DTS.

After auto setup on YSP-1000, it is set to ST3Beam and have Ysp "movie" mode on (which the manual says for DTS)

Can anyone help

Have you set your DVD player to output dts? You have to enable the player to output dts via it's audio menu, otherwise you will only get Dolby Digital.
