Does Pearl Harbor have a standard Dolby Digtal 2.0 mix by any chance as well as DD and/or DTS? Have you manually selected DD in the audio set up before playing the film?

i can help you. the 1802 has a chipset fault ,denon will pick your amp up and correct it. just contact them. other movies that wont play include jp3. also this problem also affects some kenwood amps and onkyo models that were built at the same time. its something to do with ex flagging. i was very pleased with denon because they only had my amp for 1 week and it cost me nothing to send it as they arranged it all.
