No display : Power supply or backlit strips ?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here so excuse me if I don't understand everything. I have a Sony TV model KD-70X690E with no display (picture stay black). My concern is how to determine if the problem come from power supply or the backlit led strips ?

I open the TV and confirm on the power supply board that the +5V and +12V are working properly. At the backlit led connector (on the power supply board), the voltage increase on power on from 0 to around 100V within 3 seconds and than decrease rapidly to stabilize at around 32Vdc (after about 5 seconds). According to the service manual, I'm suppose to have around 210 Vdc on that connector.

Unfortunately, I don't have a TV led tester to confirm the good work of the strips

I can order a new power supply, but if the problem come from the led strips, I will buy it for nothing (or vice versa)

Any hint from you on how to pinpoint the problem before ordering parts will be very appreciate.

Thank you
