I have a Sumvision N820 Divx dvd player & some films have no dialog, although the rest of the audio is fine - Does anyone know if a setting has to be changed or if anyone else has experienced this with any other brands?

:) If you don't hear all the audio, usually the speach, it is because the player defaults to 5.1 but is being used on a 2 or 2.1 system. To change the audio to play all channels through the scart, std 2 speaker setup:

on the remote, hit 'Setup' in the menu scroll accross to - Speaker setup - the first option is 'Downmix', change the output from 5.1 to LT/RT or stereo.
That should give you full audio through less than 5.1 channels

If the picture is black & white, enter setup and on tv system select either auto (where the player will attempt to detect your TV reception) or PAL the UK standard.

If you plan to use the Player on a PC, you will need to change the video output to VGA before you attach it to a monitor otherwise you might not a get a clear enough picture to change the output signal to VGA when connected to the monitor.
