Hi all, I need some help configuring my laptop for viewing via my Sony HS10.

I have it connected via the supplied multi cable using the S-Video and have tried various desktop settings and all I can see is my desktop wallpaper.

Why cant I see whats actually on my desktop instead of the bitmap used for the wallpaper?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as always :)

There is an option somewhere that allows you to hide desktop icons, so maybe that's been selected.

I think it varies from OS to OS, but I was using that feature on WinMe for a while. I can't remember how you can enable it, but I think it's via the desktop settings and if you enable the desktop web features.

Sorry I can't help more than that.
