Just bought a sony DVP-NS900 off ebay and have been really happy with it ( primarily used for CD playback). I thought I would try to connect it through component to see what the picture quality was like, but I am unable to get any signal. I know the component leads are ok as i've used them on my old DVD player so does this mean that there is a problem with the sony player itself? Any advice or ideas would be much appreciated :lease:

Check all software menu settings on both player and TV.

I presume I need the remote to check the DVD player's software settings? I haven't got one yet as the ebay seller forgot to post it. I'll wait for that to arrive and have a bit of a fiddle then, cheers.
