No audio from HD channels

My Sky box is connected to my TV via HDMI1.

My blu ray receiver is connected to the TV via HDMI2 and via Optical.

Everything works great, except when I watch TV I get no audio from the blu ray's 5.1 speakers when I'm on an HD channel. SD channels have audio.

However if I go into Sky HD box settings, I notice under Sound that Optical is set to Dolby D and HDMI is also set to Dolby D. If I change the HDMI setting to "Normal", the audio then comes through the speakers...

Connect your SkyHD box optical to the receiver then you'll get Dolby D.

It shows that your TV is incapable of decoding and outputting DD from the HDMI input. Usually TVs only output DD via optical from their own internal tuners.
