Well despite the obvious :spam: above  the £99 package package with console + Nintendogs does look extremely tempting as a christmas pressie for my 7 year old daughter. I wonder if all the kids in playground will have one. It was Tamagotchi last year.

I'd prefer a Advance Wars package myself

Had this game for ages now. It was great for the first fortnight and gets very boring very quickly. The missus still plays on it daily however.

I would give it 7/10 on reflection. A nice little game, young girls will definately love it. Especially if parents are anti-pets!

Do you know anyone with a US copy of the game? If so, can you test it to see if they will communicate with each other in Bark mode?

I've currently got 2 US copies (one for me, one for the wife), but am thinking of buying the kids their own DS with Nintendogs for Christmas. If the UK and US versions can talk, this would be good.

what gets me is my girlfriend likes the sound of this so was going to buy her a DS with nintendogs for christmas.
Now her fave colour is pink
She has always wanted a labrador.
Why can't i get the nintendo DS Nintendogs pack in PINK with the LABRADOR.
I an't paying extra when deals like this one are going on.

dont worry it just means shes going to have to unlock them by winning prizes, all the dogs are there the only difference is that it unlocks 3 dogs to start off with

:) my sister and I have both got this game, mine came at the weekend, we have played in wireless mode and the dogs are great. my mum loves the game as well as it has stopped us asking for another dog :)
i love the way i can tell my dog commands and it will only listen to me, and its loads of fun training the dog and doing all the courses on the game to earn more points

Just had to add my thoughts here.
I got the game the day it was released here in the UK and I love it. I've trained my puppy (Buffy) and I like that you can tell it to do things with the mic.

It's a very clever and absorbing game.

Is there any point in trying to find this cheaper than the £99 price tag in game? A quick search of the net hasnt thrown up any cheaper nintendogs package. My daughter wants one for xmas, sono good waiting for them to appear on ebay in january :rotfl:

How about, for £95:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl/202-4141188-0775822

or if you want a blue one

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/202-4141188-0775822

This is the cheapest I've found in the UK. Although you may be happier spending the extra £5 by buying it in the shop. If anything is wrong with it, it will be less hassle just taking it back than having to send it back.

You might be able to get it cheaper by importing it, but I doubt you'd save much, and, unless you've already got a gameboy advance SP, you'd have to get a UK power adaptor,

I've been considering one of these for a little while for a christmas pressie for my daughter, and I've been looking on pretty much a daily basis, and the Amazon ones are the cheapest I've found too.
I've looked at importing, and the most I could save was about £10, but that's not counting any customs charge you may end up paying, or as Melliot says, if you need to buy a powere adapter. For me, that's not enough saving for potential hassle if you have a problem.
I'm still leaning towards Amazon as I have some vouchers, and their return policy is okay... unless someone has seen them cheaper of course?
