lol @ the shares plummeting after the news of the partnership going with miitomo.

As much as I hate to say it, at this point I hope they just start making stuff for other platforms and focus on the new 3DS. It really sounds like they have no direction.

I did :D at that bit too, typical Nintendo.

About the only good part I took from that lot was this...

- Smash Bros and MK8 DLC top the charts (more being planned for both titles)

I'd be up for more MK8 DLC that's for sure, up there with the best DLC packs I've purchased so far.

The Miitomo thing is hilariously bad, classic Nintendo. It does get worse. You can only 'talk' to friends, and even then you don't actually do the talking, your Mii does! They reckon it'll help people who are too shy to talk to their friends get more confidence.

I do like the new MyNintendo thing though. Earning points for playing through games and getting money off vouchers can only be a good thing. It's like achievements/trophies that actually benefit you in real life. Now I can justify the hours I spend ticking off every box in that OCD-inducing list of things to do in every game.

"Ok, I know you're peed off that I missed the birth of our child to get the 'Drop 2,000,000 banana skins' achievement but it's bagged me 20p off my next purchase. Isn't that great?! Honey? Honey???"
