I skipped through pretty quickly but it looks to have nothing there for me.

Mark of the Ninja looks pretty.
Fantasy Strike (Street Fighter clone) looks fun.
Just shapes and beats looks trippy.
Garage looks great, like retro GTA but with ZOMBIES
    Pool Panic - not convinced
Bomb Chicken looks like a game where the name came first but could be fun.
Lumines remastered looks like sideways Tetris and I have no idea how to play it after watching that !!
Reigns looks like an old adventure game with prettier graphics
    Lightfall looks hard
West of Loathing, a wild west stick figure RPG ? No idea.
Pode (pronounced Pu deh) is very pretty looking.
The Messenger looks like a cross between Shinobi and a bunch of other Megadrive and SNES games.
    Bad North looks interesting.
Banner Story 3 (and 1 & 2) looks like it will eat up all your time !!

Lumines was one of the best games on the PSP and one of the best puzzle games on any platform with a fantastic soundtrack that required headphones to get the best from it. It's an easy game to play but takes a while to master. I will be double-dipping on this if it contains the original soundtrack.

Nintendo's video doesn't explain the game at all, watch this video to get an idea of the gameplay:

Whilst I don't doubt the gameplay, I do hope the music can be turned off - for me it's utter trash and distracting - each to their own mind. Can the background visuals but static or is it part of the game's gameplay?

You can't play Lumines without music.

It'd be akin to playing guitar hero without the music!

Just turn off the music and listen to some Cliff Richard on your gramophone in the background instead, Granpa [emoji13]

I jest, I’m not keen on techno either[emoji2]

I will not listen to techno in any other medium, it's not my cup of tea, but it really suits this game, providing a really immersive experience.

I'm not sure if the music can be muted, leaving just the sound effects but I think the game just won't be the same without it.
