I have ordered a few titles from them (I'm sure I paid more for my Ninja Scroll - It is a beautiful set (and for that price I would order another one), and haven't been hit at customs yet (touch wood).
Sods law - I have one coming and no doubt I will now !!!!
I am really impressed with their service, and you do seem to get the limited edition box sets pretty cheap.
I got 'A moment to Remember' from them, and am waiting for Kung Fu Hustle.

You won't get hit by customs with DVDfromKorea as they're willing to mark packages as being under the customs limit, and include a phony invoice.

Do you have to ask for this service or do they do it regardless?

There are three checkboxes to tick during checkout -- the first gives the option to not send an invoice with the order, the second gives the option to mark the package as a gift and the third gives the option to mark down the declared value (and they'll put a false invoice in the box as well). Just tick the third one and it should go through customs with no problems.

Postage for that amount would be $47. You'd actually be better off splitting it into two orders of below 2,000g if possible. Postage for each order would be $20.99 in that case, so you'd save $5.

Nearly 4kg from Korea... it's bound to be high. DVDfromKorea's postage charges are in line with other Korea-based retailers such as KoreanDVDs.
