Does anyone think this could be released on DVD?

Personally I think that a full cut of this advert, plus a making of feature and a few interviews would make quite an interesting budget DVD (Less than a tenner!).

A thirty second bite is not enough of this amazing advert. Maybe Nike could also put a few of there previous Football adverts on the DVD aswell as over the last five years there's been some crackers.

I hope other peeps on this forum agree. Let me now your opinions.

For those out there that are not football minded, it's the advert with Ronaldo and Co in a cage while the King himself Eric Cantona watches the action looking very cool.

Those out there who are not football minded are unlikely to know who Ronaldo and Eric Cantona are

I would DEFINITELY buy that ad on DVD - I can't get enough of it! Have you seen the FULL version? They show it on MTV all the time, it's on for about 5 minutes......

I'd actually buy a DVD of all the Nike ads to date - that would be worth a watch.

"the King himself Eric Cantona watches the action looking very cool."

Funny, I thought he looked like a French thug version of Bob Hoskins!

In the follow up does Cantona attack the watching crowd, finally lose the plot altogether,...thinks he,s a sardine and throws himself of the boat :D

That jeans advert reminds me of Hidden Tiger, Crouching Dragon for some reason. I think it's the bit where they run up the trees towards the end of it.

As far as weird goes... what about the 'demonic baby breaks out of Victorian mental hospital' advert for the Volkswagon Lupo. What were they on/thinking??

How about the new 'The One' advert which shows a guy running across a city, over roofs (a la CTHD), to get to his TV on time to watch something on BBC? Pretty cool.

Have you seen the Honda advert?

    What if?

Where the Nike ads take the Bafta for style, Honda have it in the bag for concept with this one.

You can download it from Nike.com

Unfortunately Nike cannot make DVD releases of old ads. Athletes are paid for ads to run a certain amount of time, so it is illegal for Nike to keep using their images after the campaign has finished.
