That looks pretty great, so it the slipcase. Slipcase is better actually. For £2 more think I'll bite at that!

Indeed. 4K would be an instant buy. Especially since it would look fantastic (BR already looks (looked) great).

I'd pay £26 if it was a 4K release lol. Which will come, in time.

So hold on here a minute. Is the slipcase on this 4X lower resolution than a 4K slipcase ? How come a Blu-ray slipcase is £1 extra here, yet on 4K releases it costs £4 for the same thing? I might have to hit Zavvi CS up for an answer on that. :D

I would love to see a whole Elm St. steelbook collection, presented in 4K. But..for the time being, this will do just nicely.

They should of used the image on the card box on the back of the steelbook. Instead of using a freddy vs Jason pic on the back of steelbook which is like nearly 20 years after NOES! Haha

That's what came to my mind! They did use that exact image on the DVD boxset which I still own from 2004.

I like that. Hope it's the same for the 4K Steelbook.:D

oh yes, for that 4k copy that's yet to exist lol not even a whisper of that one sorry mate. There's not another reboot in sight and the 40th anniversary won't be for another 4 years yet ;)

I can wait. It'll come. As sure as night following day. Just a matter of time.

Anyone got the slipcase version in hand? Any good? I'm tempted by it, but that's more the selling point for me than the actual steelbook tbh.

If its naff thin paper like the Watchmen steel slip I'll likely pass and get the hmv exclusive boxset when that gets a price drop instead.
