This BBC TV series is being shown at the NFT on the 4th December.

All four 30 minute episodes. Apparrently it's the most requested repeat according to the BBC's cult TV website.

    I'll be there. Anyone else?

I'd like to but doubt I'll get there.
I've got some very scary memories of that series... a few sleepless nights were had in our house after the first couple of episodes - none of us (me or my 2 brothers) could stop from hiding behind cushions, much to the amusement of our dad:rolleyes:

Lets hope it still holds up after, what... 20+ years?

btw Xusia, slightly off topic, but Warners have an R1 due for The Wind and the Lion for January. Commentary + featurette are in the bag apparently. I can see they'll sell at least 2 copies of it.
Its already out in Germany too as a bare bones job

As the the NFT are showing this, the series may well be released on the BFI label.

With ****L, I'll have a copy of that double quick. R1 is still likely to fall foul of the BBFC due to the "horse fall" stunts.
