Hey movie fans, I'm a 26 year old director from Brooklyn named Dylan Bank, and I just finished my first movie, a psychosexual thriller called NIGHTMARE. I raised the money myself and shot it on HD (the Panasonic Vericam for those that know, and on AV Forums I'm sure many do), and we just posted the trailer at our website

    www.NightmareTheMovie.com

I invite all of you to check it out, and please tell me what you think, good or bad.

I went into NIGHTMARE to make the most intense, insane and surprising film of all time, and now it is up to you to decide how much of my ambition got onscreen. Thank you, and I hope you take a look (and please don't pull my post, I'm not a studio machine, I'm just one person)

    The story looked quite interesting.

The actors seemed quite good too.

I assume your budget was limited?

So assuming that, I'd expect it to be a good film.

Glad you guys checked it out. We're premiering at the Shockerfest in California in September where we're nominated for "Best Horror Feature", "Best Actor" Jason Scott Campbell, "Best Actress" Nicole Roderick, and "Best Score" Kangol. We're the most nominated film at the festival. After that, we're open to showing NIGHTMARE in more venues, but definitley on the big screen.

    Anyone else see the trailer?

Hey AVforums, things are really picking up for NIGHTMARE. I just got back from our world premiere in Shockerfest where we won "Best Score".

This weekend I'm going to the Eerie Horror Film Festival, where NIGHTMARE is nominated for "Best Picture"
Then, on Sept 23rd, we're playing in the New York City Horror Film Festival, one of only nine movies in competition.

After that, on Halloween night (and the night before), NIGHTMARE is playing in the Chicago Horror Film Festival, and we have the most nominations in the festival, at six, including "Best Picture", "Best Actress" and "Best Actor".

Check out www.NightmareTheMovie.com for the full info, and to see the trailer.

Thanks to any of you who took the time to watch the trailer and to post (and for not pulling this post). Anyone else out there, take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think.
