    Advice please!

Is virtual dolby with a built in subwoofer a great improvement of sound, compared to nicam, when watching terrestrial or sky sports?
If you have a 5.1 cinema kit does this only work when playing a 5.1 dvd is it worth getting this sort of kit if mainly going to be watching sky?

Its all getting to much for my little head!!!!!!!!please help!

You are a bit confused matey! A thread .HERE might help a bit. Virtual Dolby is a Stereo processing effect and not great.
Read that thread and see if you understand a bit more!

Right read the thread think i got it but not sure!

    1) Virtual dolby not to much of an improvement?
    2) Dolby 5.1 not worth it unless watching dvd's or some sky+?

So am i right in thinking that pro logic 2 will be the best for getting crowd atmosphere through sky sports?

Yep you are matey!!! DPL2 Works well with all stereo sources, VHS, TV etc. As for Sports never listened specifically to any sport(footie I assume) in PL2. You might want to try it before you buy! But currently there are no systems for making a stereo source surround.
