For those that are interested or have similar issues

My N6P wasn't charging fully and was shutting down completely at around 30%

Would come to it most mornings with it completely dead.

Spoke to Google tech support via their callback facility that's on Oreo and they agreed to replace it with a fully refurbished / as new handset and then to send mine back...

This is what they've done, received the new handset yesterday and it literally is as new. New / unused fully sealed accessories, fully sealed box and the handset looks brand spanking new!

The caveat is that you have to have bought the phone from Google!

My advice is that if you have an N6P and the battery is becoming more and more useless, speak to Google and see what they can sort for you :)

I'd certainly give them a call (we'll, start a call back via the help part on Oreo in settings).

I couldn't find the email receipt from me buying the N6P, but they checked the IMEI and it went from there!

20mins on the call, 4 day wait for delivery and I've a 'as new, if not brand new' handset!
