Am the proud owner of KEF ref 3.2 and a 200c for the front set up, but rightly or wrongly, am now concidering actives due the need to buy some power amps now i've sold my 1SE and gone for a Tag AVR32r.

If I keep the KEF's, i'll need to spend approx £1600 on a pair of Rotel 1075's

Other option is sell the KEF's would guess i'd get £1400 all in. This would leave me £3k for an active front three, or a pair.

    Does this make sense?

    Thanks

    Nathan

Mate is bringing a 1075 round this pm for a play, so this may help.

Eric already named my place Batcave 2 :)

I can vouch for the M&K 2510P's, very nice along side my HGS15!

Well, listened to a Rotel 1075 and, not as warm as the Denon which could be driven harder without the treble getting over excited.

Did allow more detail through which was expected, but having owned Meridian 557's this was a very budget amp, connectors and case, even sound was to bright, or i'm to used to the denon. Who knows.

So back to the drawing board and another remortgage at this rate !?!

I'll name mine Batcave III The Return then :clown:
