    Hi,

I'm interested in buying a Viera-all-in-one-style TV but am currently a little put-off by the lack of HD compatibility of the current model Viera. I'm assuming that the next-gen Viera will fix this issue.

So, a couple of questions spring to mind:

    1. Does anyone have know (or would they care to make an informed guess) about when the current Viera will be replaced?

    2. Will the replacement range include a 37" TV?

    Thanks,

    Jules.

    1. Dunno but probably SEP next year since plasmas have a 12 month product life cycle.

    2. Goto the Japanese website, they already have the next gen Viera since July this year. And yes there is a 37" model called TH-37PX300 which is a HD model, 1024x720 resolution, 3 billion colours and all the gen 7 trimmings with HDMI, iLink, Optical in, Ethernet, PC Card, IRModem input built in.
