Last couple of FIFA's have been around Sept/Oct time I think so I would expect one then. Hopefully will be a similar time when PES7 is out.

The Uefa champions league game has been out for a month or so if that interest you (I have it, and its a huge step up from Fifa 07 on the PS2 anyway).

As said above, PES7 and FIFA 08 should be out 2 months into the football season at the latest.

Actually, all the english premiership clubs are in the game. All prem teams can be played although some like Villa won't be in the champions league mode automatically, but you can put them in at the expense of another english team.

I would definately recommend Champions League. You can create your own team anyway in Ultimate team mode and call it what you like. Takes a while to build up a decent squad but it's really addictive once you start collecting the player cards :smashin:

Personally, now that it's compatible with the 360 I'd buy the original Xbox version of FIFA 07. It's streets ahead of the 360 version, has loads of tournament DIY modes, a good online tournament mode, a really good career mode, and the game engine itself is so much more fun than UEFA and the 360 FIFA 07.

It also has a shedload of teams from all over the place - including all four English leagues. Why EA didn't include this depth with the 360 version I'll never know - though I'll hazard a guess at something to do with cashing in on the Champions League. Swines.

As for FIFA 08, I've not really heard a lot about it to be honest. I thought they would be drumming up support for it by now if it's due out in the summer. I'd expect it around October.

Having said that, Codies are releasing Sensible World of Soccer on the Live Arcade in the summer too, so that should provide the purists with a decent football fix in the meantime :)

    LOL! That is funny.

And steviebwoy, I have heard that the 360 engine for FIFA is >>> than XBox1 version. That is why many PES players have started buying FIFA07/UefaCL on 360.

Pah, suck it and see mate! It's nowhere near as good on the 360. That's why I got rid of both games and re-bought the Xbox1 version. Stands to reason really!

Each to their own I suppose, but the Xbox1 game is so much more enjoyable to play in my view. Both 360 versions make too much of the finesse finishing and the majority of goals tend to be scored from inside the box - though that could just be the way I play.

Playing online everyone just tries to get to the "sweet spot" on the edge of the area to chip it in. It's completely predictable and a total waste of time, I get so frustrated with people who just do the same move over and over again. It's so pointless. They either do the cross from the wing or the chip from the edge of the area. What a load of poo. The XB1 version is so much more varied - goals come from all over the place - and it has skill moves too.

Give it a go, it's very different if you come to it straight from the 360 as the graphics are nowhere near as good, and the engine is quite a bit different. It's much faster, but so much better in my view.

Maybe I'm alone, but I'm just not feeling footy on the 360 yet - Pro Evo 6 is probably the best footy game on there, but even that falls short of FIFA 07 on the XB1. Personal opinion of course.

Yep, should be chuffin awesome mate :) Pro Evo & FIFA can't match the gameplay of this little beauty!

There's a thread all about it in the Live Arcade forum here.

And posted up a couple of screenshots here.
