NEWS: Xbox Series X November launch confirmed

Microsoft has confirmed that its Xbox Series X next generation gaming console will launch in November with thousands of games available - unfortunately. that won’t include Halo Infinite, which has been rescheduled for 2021.

Disappointing, but the right choice. They need Halo Infinite to sell next-gen, and from what was shown, though it looks great fun and I will definitely get it when it comes out (love a bit of Halo, me), it fell far from the expected mark visually. I think this is the right choice. Hopefully gives 343 enough time to soup it up to – at least looking like – a proper next-gen experience.

I don't have a horse in this race as I'm a PC player, but as such I'm still pretty glad 343 has taken the feedback on the chin and is prepared to take the time to make Infinite all that it can be. Doesn't bode well fo Series X sales, though, this year at least.

Disappointed about halo but it will probably do the game better being outside the November release. Assassin's, Cyber Punk and also a new Call of Duty is a lot to contend with and could do the game better not being slapped between all of these
