and how will these speakers be powered?
Presumably they are active speakers, the advantage being that while they will, of course, need plugging in wherever they are located, there won't need to be speaker cables routed in your ceiling/walls/skirting board/carpet. Plus the speakers can be relocated easily if you wish without having to reroute those cables.and how will these speakers be powered? another thing to go flat and need charging at an inconvenient time, or need to be plugged in using... wires?
I would much rather tackle the hiding of speaker cables rather than sorting a power supply at each speaker.Presumably they are active speakers, the advantage being that while they will, of course, need plugging in wherever they are located, there won't need to be speaker cables routed in your ceiling/walls/skirting board/carpet. They should offer the best of both worlds, mains where you can and speaker wire where you cant/won't put a mains plugI would much rather tackle the hiding of speaker cables rather than sorting a power supply at each speaker.
Maybe it's something you could mention to the electrician re-wiring you house having bought said speaker(s).Gonna need lots of mains sockets to plug these in.
