TCL joins WiSA and takes a step closer to wireless TV audio

Like the look of this.
and how will these speakers be powered? another thing to go flat and need charging at an inconvenient time, or need to be plugged in using... wires?
Small wind turbines on the top of each unit
I’ll be very interested in this but not at the price that it no doubt will be!
Presumably they are active speakers, the advantage being that while they will, of course, need plugging in wherever they are located, there won't need to be speaker cables routed in your ceiling/walls/skirting board/carpet. Plus the speakers can be relocated easily if you wish without having to reroute those cables.
I would much rather tackle the hiding of speaker cables rather than sorting a power supply at each speaker.
They should offer the best of both worlds, mains where you can and speaker wire where you cant/won't put a mains plug
Gonna need lots of mains sockets to plug these in.
Maybe it's something you could mention to the electrician re-wiring you house having bought said speaker(s).
