In terms of extension/output PB1000 Pro would be upgrade for sure as the SVS is going to have very strong output below 20hz with low distortion knowing the brand. So if you crave more deep bass generally then this could be something to consider. The old PB2000 should be touch better at 705£.

Naturally if you can spend more then don´t hesitate to buy best woofer(s) you can afford! You don´t see threads here "i bought too powerfull sub, i need downgrade". One thing to keep in mind though is the smaller size of PB1000 Pro which may or may not matter if you are considering adding 2nd sub in future..
