What's with these terrible stands that require you to have a TV unit at least as wide as the TV (or wider for some of these!)

It's okay on a 55 inch TV but on a 65 you're pushing it.

‘Features to be added via future firmware’.....oh c’mon Sony! After having my fingers burnt by Sony before regard to Dolby Vision on my A1...I simply don’t trust Sony anymore! Looks like a straight choice between Samsung and LG for me then.

Looking at the pictures on Sony official site, 92, 93, 94, 95 look like same TV's with different design, maybe 95 has a bit better sound as it looks. Can't imagine Sony having 4 different FALD TV's I think it's still two different, 90 and 92/93/94/95. That's maybe also why there is no 55" X95J because 93/94 is the same TV which is in 55".

EDIT: Looks like only 95 has X-Wide Angle, uh, so they are not the same TV's, weird so many different FALD models.

As I understand it, X90J, X92J and X93J/X94J are the same TV with minor cosmetic differences. They come with different stands, and that's where the difference ends I'd guess. Performance-wise, it'll be the same TV.

The X95J is a different TV altogether, the step-up model.

Yep, I think you are right, X90J, X92J, X93J/X94J might be the same, they don't have X-Wide angle like X95J but still confusing, too many models.
