NEWS: Google Home update leaves smart speakers dumb

If they refused to replace something they broke then what choice would you have other than to buy a new one, exchange it with the faulty one, and return it to the store for a refund?

Im obviously not endorsing this sort of behavior, but why should the end user suffer?
